our design

Our design incorporates three basic principles: simplicity, inclusion and impact.

Our communications should not appear over-complicated. We have a simple message and we are looking to tell it simply and consistently.

Our design is inclusive. Our public communications use a large (16pt), clear font (Arial, Verdana) to ensure that our message reaches as wide an audience as possible. Some documents will be produced using braille. This gives a tactile element to our design.

Our design is also inclusive in the sense that we try to reflect young people in our communications. Our banner includes a strip of images of young people - we will rotate these images to ensure that all young people we work with can feel part of our brand.

We want to draw attention to our message, so we try to create impact through a distinctive use of colours and images. We achieve this through black backgrounds and tinted images.

Here are some templates to help you produce documents which strengthen our message. Using these templates will help us be consistent in our work.
